vivo Smartphone Photograph Wins First Prize in the Global Mobile Photography Awards, Category “Eyes of the World”
Dubai-UAE, March 17, 2021: A vivo photograph placed among the tenth annual winners in the 2020 Mobile Photography Awards (MPA) results. Founded in 2011, MPA is the world’s longest running competition for mobile photography and arts, attracting over 5,700 photos from more than 75 countries last year. Shot on vivo devices, one photo was crowned the 1st Place Winner in the category “Eyes of the World”, with three other entries from the series receiving honorable mentions as well. The winning submission – “Cantonese Opera II by Queenie Cheen” – showcased the vibrant culture of Cantonese Opera, capturing the exquisite details of performers as well as the vivid colors of their costumes through the high-caliber lens of a vivo smartphone.
