Online school iCademy Middle East see 200 percent spike as families grapple with the pandemic’s disruption

The school has particularly witnessed an increase from students in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar

iCademy Middle East, the only KHDA approved online school announced that it had witnessed a 200 percent surge in its enrollment. According to the school, the increase comes as a response to the substantial rise in COVID-19 cases that have caused students and parents to opt for online schooling. The school has particularly witnessed an increase from students in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar. In the UAE, they have seen a substantial increase from the emirate of Abu Dhabi, citing that 30 percent of new enrolments are from the capital.
