Christmas Tree Lighting at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 9 December 2020 – Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi will light up its highly anticipated Christmas tree on Saturday 12 December at 7 pm.

The glamourous 13-metre centrepiece will be adorned with stunning gold and silver ornaments and stand tall at the iconic property’s Dome Area which will be transformed into a winter wonderland. With beautiful chalets placed in every corner of the Dome, mini-Christmas trees surrounding the main installation and decorated with fairy lights throughout, the decked-out venue is certain to give visitors a much-needed festive cheer.

Guests who wish to witness the unique lighting ceremony can watch it live on Emirates Palace’s social media channels, Instagram and Facebook, or book the Festive Afternoon Tea experience at Le Café, as part of the Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, priced at AED 395 for two. The menu includes Alaskan king crab and organically farmed turkey as well as winter macarons and Christmas cookies, offering a sweet finish to the decadent experience. Guests can also purchase delicious baked goods, perfect as stocking fillers for the whole family.

Abu Dhabi Culinary Season’s wider programme of events offers something for all dining preferences, from hunting for the city’s best hidden gems in an interactive scavenger hunt to indulging in popular dessert hotspots and exploring the incredible coffee offerings throughout the capital.
