“The UAE National Day is an occasion on which the nation pays tribute to the efforts our forefathers put into the founding of this great country.
It is also a day to deepen our love for our nation, renwew our commitment to preserving and building on the great achievements of our wise leadership in every field, and ensure that all our future plans for development stay true to the virtues and values with which the Father of the Nation, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, sowed the seeds of the Union 49 years ago.”
Al Hammadi further said that the UAE National Day is an opportunity to highlight the respect and admiration the nation enjoys on the global stage, especially for its humaniratian endeavours worldwide. She noted that the country’s humanitarian culture is rooted in its identity and has grown to become a shining global example in the five decades since the establishment of the UAE, thanks to the unflinching dedication of the nation’s public and private institutions as well as the general public in supporting the UAE’s humanitarian efforts, wherever and whenever people are in need.
