TOMMY HILFIGER STANDS BEHIND SUSTAINABILITY MISSION WITH FALL 2020 TOMMY JEANS COLLECTION
Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], announces the Fall 2020 TOMMY JEANS collection, which builds on Tommy Hilfiger’s ongoing sustainability mission to create fashion that Wastes Nothing and Welcomes All.
In keeping with a growing portfolio of TOMMY JEANS sustainability strides, this season incorporates innovative materials and production methods at each step of the design and manufacturing process. The impact-conscious collection will be available online at tommy.com, at select TOMMY HILFIGER and TOMMY JEANS stores worldwide, and through select wholesale partners beginning September, 2020.
To combat textile waste, a majority of the TOMMY JEANS collection is designed using 100% recycled denim styles made using an innovative technique that blends cotton scraps from the apparel industry’s factory floors and hotel industry’s bed linens, stitched with thread made from recycled plastic PET bottles. The season’s newly launched Critter-embroidered icon styles are also made of 100% recycled denim, to wear as stand-alone statement pieces or pair together for a bold coordinating set.
