The Women’s Show Online – July 29

The fourth “Women’s Show Online Event” was livestreamed on July 29, over social media, reaching well over 2 million viewers. It was under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Mouza bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan who gave a heartfelt message of hope in her opening address. Ms. Rima Sayegh, Founder of the “Women’s Show” greeted her wishes for a happy Eid Al Adha to the Arab population and congratulated the U.A.E. on its historic launchof the Mars mission.

 

It was an evening of captivating surprises and informative discussions. Vibrant singer Moeen Shreif impressed with his entertaining performances, opening and closing out the show in spectacular style.

 

Dr. Jacques Mokhbat, MD Infectious Diseases, Chairman of Internal Medicine Department at the Lebanese American Universitygave us the latest news on the much anticipated Covid 19 treatment and vaccine. He also hadsome tips on travelling safely during the pandemic, important considerations while people start to leave for their Eid or summer vacations.

 

The main sponsor, Cetaphil’s speaker Dr. Rafia Owera, Specialist Pediatrician gave recommendations on healthy skin care for babies. Dr. Mohaned Khalid Al Jamal, Specialist Pediatric, a speaker for Abbott Laboratories, advised on how to deal with children who have feeding difficulties.He suggested that baby led weaningcan assist in alleviating the challenges and letting them feed themselves with finger foods. Dr. Rona Rabah, Reconstructive Cosmetic Dental Specialist gave a talk on the importance of dental health and how its neglect can affect the general health of older people.
