A competition bringing 460 students from different cultures together in “rest assured”
The Department of Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) organized a drawing competition that gathered 21 schools from different regions with an active and positive participation of 460 male and female students from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
“The competition is a platform to present the ideas of the younger generation in a different way that enables them to recognize their talents and extract their ideas by various means.” Roaya Al-Ketbi, Head of the intraculture Communication section said, noting that the diversity of means today pushes everyone to innovate to support young energies and achieve the center’s goals.
“The time of the competition is very important during the global crisis that the world witnessed, as different sectors of society generate different feelings related to this event. By this platform, we were able to draw feelings of happiness and reassurance, in order to enhance the values of humanity and enable students to share their messages and feelings with everybody.” Roaya Al-Ketbi, said.
Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center is working to achieve its strategic vision by spreading awareness and introducing the moderate and tolerant Islamic culture among the communities residing in Dubai.
