The ever-popular Dubai hotspot has re-opened its doors to serve up the most delectable French cuisine and the unmistakable Bagatelle vibe!

Dubai, 16 June 2020: Bagatelle has become an emblematic restaurant that has established itself as a firm favourite of the Dubai dining scene. The award-winning restaurant has withstood the test of time under the direction of Head Chef Dave Fitzsimmons whose culinary expertise draws the most refined of crowds with a desire for a playful, upbeat and utterly delicious French fine-dining experience.

Now the Dubai favourite has reopened and promises its infectious cosmopolitan atmosphere, pulsating ambience and sumptuous cuisine, all the while complying with governmental guidelines. Bagatelle’s contemporary yet traditional approach to French gastronomy is a uniquely decadent concept, combining European luxury with avant-garde cuisine.  Be immersed in Joie De Vivre with a Dubai twist– from polished service to a world-class wine list and inventive plates, Bagatelle provides a modern approach to Parisian hospitality.

Chef Dave Fitzsimmons has curated a menu of refined classics alongside innovative signature dishes complete with bold and inventive flavours. Start things off with the Burrata Truffée, where burrata is beautifully fused with roasted quince & apple, served with truffle dressing and cranberry & hazelnut bread, alternatively Tartare de Thon combines yellowfin tuna, avocado, soy and lime dressing for a light and refreshing taste sensation.

For the entrée course try the famous Pizza à la Truffle Noire or quintessentially French Escargots de Bourgogne served with smoked garlic potato and parsley butter flat bread. For ultimate indulgence opt for the Poulet Rôti à la Truffle Noire – whole truffle roasted chicken, foie gras, wild mushrooms, potatoes and sourdough bread.

Dessert at Bagatelle is always a good idea with sweet treats such as Bagatelle Mousse au Chocolat, Banoffee and of course a delightful French Cheese Selection. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

Bistrot Bagatelle Dubai is the seventh outpost of the Bagatelle family. Hailing from France, Brand Essence owners Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba collaborated in February 2008 to create a restaurant that is wholly French Mediterranean in atmosphere and cuisine. First established in the New York City Meatpacking District, Bistro Bagatelle features signature style, and encompasses classic Mediterranean food, chic décor, lively music with an element of fun. Bistro Bagatelle NYC quickly became a New York favorite, launching the world-famous “Champagne Brunch” in April 2008.

Having cultivated an environment that demonstrates their dedication to superior service, strategic operations and an unparalleled ambiance for patrons while continuing to provide luxurious and unique experiences, Laba and Clemente have extended the Bagatelle family to include locations in Los Angeles, St Bath, and Sao Paulo, including Maison Bagatelle Dubai and Bagatelle Beach in St Tropez.

Bistrot Bagatelle Dubai boasts a strong focus on fresh, clean flavours and ingredients as the center of the concept, with French classics enlivened with innovative flavour combinations and a lighter approach to dining. The restaurant serves a relaxed, classic South of France inspired, New York infused dining concept with a variety of signature dishes, with a unique spin on French classics, signature cocktails and an impressive wine list. The ambience is reminiscent of a Provençal Brasserie, while the décor and architecture is reminiscent of an old Parisian apartment. Subtle details like intricate mouldings, coffered ceilings, deep Art Nouveau mantels and delicate lighting add femininity to the space making it all the more welcoming.
