IACAD Contributes 8 million AED to face the repercussions of Corona
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai donated 8 million AED and an ambulance vehicle to face the repercussions of the emerging virus, Covid-19, known as Corona Virus, in support of the emergency equipment in various sectors and fields according to the decisions of the concerned authorities.
This comes within the framework of the national preventive efforts to face the virus, which reflects the solidarity of the community at an exceptional stage.
His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Al-Shaikh Ahmed Al-Shaibani, Director General of IACAD, pointed out that the risks that the virus left across the world made us realize the national responsibility upon us in this exceptional stage in order to help by either physical or any other means. In light of this serious situation, all the efforts must be united to support the efforts of the country that applies the highest levels of prevention.
For his part, Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi, Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector, indicated that the United Arab Emirates society presents an honorable image to the world by its solidarity and response to our leadership in their attempt to contain this crisis. Al-Muhairi confirmed that the UAE and Dubai will remain greater than this new challenge, valuing the efforts of the health and education sectors.
Al-Muhairi pointed out that IACAD contribution comes as part of the social responsibility to support this country, which did not hesitate to provide comfort to its citizens, residents and visitors, and how this country considers the human being its highest priority.
