On November 28, Kering Eyewear opened its new subsidiary in Dubai with an inaugural event in the presence of Roberto Vedovotto, Kering Eyewear’s President and CEO, the local Management team, some of the most significant local partners in the Middle East, selected press representatives, the French Consul in Dubai, Madame Raja Rabia, and the Senior Management team of TECOM Group & Dubai Design District (better known as d3).

Abdulla Belhoul (CCO of TECOM Group) and Khadija Al Bastaki (Executive Director of d3) were also in attendance.
The new offices are located in the heart of Dubai, in the exclusive Design District, a luxury hub for design and home to other brands within the Kering Group. The facility includes a newly designed showroom exhibiting all of Kering Eyewear’s collections and open for client appointments.
The investment confirms Kering Eyewear’s long-term strategy to develop its business in the Middle East and its strong belief in the region’s potential.
The operation will also allow the Company to have a direct presence in the area, as well as an improved integration with its local commercial partners, in addition to overseeing its distribution network firsthand.
As the ultimate luxury player, Kering Eyewear aims to maintain top-tier distribution and quality, while further deploying its marketing strategy across all its brands in the region.
The subsidiary will cover and serve directly retailers and distributors in ten countries.
