Nikon Hosts the first of its kind Videography Masterclass in Dubai
“Master the Art of Cinematography” in conjunction in Zhiyun, Atomos, Aputure, Deity and Adobe

19th November, Dubai, UAE – Pioneer in imaging solutions, Nikon Middle East FZE recently hosted a two-day cinematography workshop titled “Master the Art Of Cinematography” with Sydney based professional cinematographer, Rah Sharma, in association with creativity software solutions giant Adobe, and other Complementing Video Industry partners like Zhiyun, Atomos, Aputure; and Deity Microphones.


Held on 17th and 18th November in Dubai, the workshops were an excellent opportunity for budding videographers who wanted to enhance their film-making skills. These 4-hour workshops began with an introduction to camera setup and controls in Nikon’s mirrorless cameras, the Nikon Z6, Z7 and Z50 before moving on to teaching some super useful lighting and sound modulating techniques. The participants were taught how to shoot and record subjects and their environments to create a cinema like feel through hands on demonstrations along with lessons on the importance of external recording. These quick-to-learn, easy-to-follow tricks of video-making are ideal for those who want to enhance their videography game.
Rah Sharma is a cinematographer and content creator with an expertise in films and music videos. He has a passion for creating mood lights on set to create unique visuals. His vast experience in operating cinema cameras and DSLRs makes him a great mentor for the workshop designed especially for video makers.
