Dubai’s Largest Diwali Celebrations Kicks Off Tomorrow – With Special Guest Nyla Usha
In celebration of the Festival of Lights Dubai Festival City Mall
to launch the 4th all-new IMAGINE Show, ‘Hathi’s Garden’
Dubai, UAE, 23 October 2019: In collaboration with the Consulate General of India to the United Arab Emirates and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing Dubai (DTCM), Dubai Festival City Mall will be home to the biggest Diwali celebrations in Dubai this year to bring the 3.3 million Indians residing in the city an unrivalled experience at its world-class destination to celebrate Diwali in style. The occasion will be marked tomorrow night when the mall launches its fourth magnificent IMAGINE show, ‘Hathi’s Garden’ that brings visitors a unique experience with a hint of Bollywood, splash of colour and specially curated musical score, accompanied by a specially choreographed fireworks display.
In addition to the festivities planned, visitors will be treated to a special guest appearance from Indian star Nyla Usha. Nyla is an Indian film actress, anchor, and radio jockey. After working for nearly a decade as an RJ at Hit 96.7 in Dubai, she entered the Indian film industry in 2013 with Kunjananthante Kada which scored her the Best Debutant Actress Award from the Asiavision Awards. Since then she has appeared in many films including 2014’s Gangster, 2015’s Fireman and most recently this year Lucifer and Porinju Mariam Jose.
Nyla will join the expected over 30,000 visitors attending the launch tomorrow night, Festivities will start from 4pm tomorrow at Festival Bay where free LED Wristbands will be given to the first 5,000 guests and visitors can enjoy the live DJ playing the latest Bollywood hits and Indian cultural and Bollywood dances across the bay. Virgin Radio, City FM and Al Arabiya will also be broadcasting live to keep their listeners updated on all the festivities happening at the launch and run various games and competitions for a chance for visitors to win big prizes!
