PIERCHIC LAUNCHES A FOUR-COURSE SUSTAINABLE LUNCH MENU TO MARK WORLD SUSTAINABILITY DAY
Dubai, UAE – 22 October, 2019: Pierchic, the multiple award-winning home of Dubai’s most exquisite epicurean adventure at Jumeirah Al Qasr, continues to emphasize its commitment to ethically sourced produce with a new sustainable lunch menu; an addition to its acclaimed a la carte options.
To mark World Sustainability Day on Wednesday, 23rd October, Pierchic has launched a sustainable lunch menu boasting four courses made only with homegrown and ethically sourced ingredients, highlighting Pierchic’s ethos of sustainability.
Dishes on the menu will include Dibba Bay oysters from the UAE’s only oyster farm on the country’s East coast, served with cucumber, green apple and dill to start with; a duo of Norwegian salmon & Spanish yellowfin tuna ceviche with coriander, sweet potato and leche de tigre; UAE hammour for main course, served with garden vegetables and saloona sauce; and for a decadent finish, butternut & UAE ricotta cheesecake with pumpkin purée and pistachio ice cream.
Priced at AED425 per person, the menu is available from 12:30pm till 7pm from Saturday to Thursday. Advance booking is required.
The new menu reinforces Pierchic’s strong reputation for sustainability within the F&B industry. The over-the-water dining destination adopted a market-leading stance against single-use plastics, by electing to remove straws and stirrers from use, and by opting to serve mineral water in glass bottles. Earlier this year, Pierchic also hosted a sustainability summit that brought together industry leaders to discuss environmentally friendly options for the F&B industry.
