Middle East Rotating Machinery Technology and Innovation Conference (ME RoTIC) highlights innovative technologies for optimum maintenance and reliability of machineries
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October 16th, 2019: Keeping important assets such as turbines, generators, pumps, electric motors and compressors in optimum working condition is an important step in maximising reliability and productivity. Experts who gathered at the third ’Middle East Rotating Machinery Technology and Innovation Conference’ (ME RoTIC), discussed the latest technologies related to Rotating Machinery for various industries.
The event featured technologies from GCC and all over the world paving way for Oil & Gas Producers, Power Generators and Aviation industry to cope with today’s challenges including maintenance and reliability areas of machinery.
“The performance and uptime of heavy rotating equipment plays an important role in industries such as oil & gas, mining, and chemicals, and power generation. The major operations in the oil and gas industry depend upon the quality and reliability of rotating equipment and therefore, these machines form an important part of infrastructure. One of the most important metrics used in these operations is return on capital employed, which depends in large part on the availability of rotating equipment. Through this conference, our aim is to connect the stakeholders and offer them a premium platform to discuss latest technologies in this area,” said Samuel Benedict, Director of Aldrich International, organisers of the show.
Spearheaded by industry experts as Mr. Abdulsalam Al Saif, Manager – Maintenance (Ras Tanura Refinery), Saudi Aramco; Mr Abdullah Nazzawi, Senior Division Head – Maintenance, Ras Tanura Refinery, Saudi Aramco; Mr Nader Milibari, Superintendent Maintenance, Saudi Aramco; Mr Mamdouh Al Aidarous, Engineering Consultant, Saudi Aramco; Mr. Yousef Alghamdi, Senior Supervisor, Saudi Aramco; Ms Basma Al Menhali, Project Engineering Manager, ADNOC Onshore; Mr Abdulrahman Alkhowaiter, Rotating Equipment Consultant, Saudi Aramco; Mr. Salim Al Alawi, Corporate Function Discipline Head – Rotating Equipment, Petroleum Development Oman; Mr Mansoor Al Najar, Rotating Equipment Section Head, ADNOC Gas Processing; Mr. Hatem Rashad, Team Leader Rotating Equipment Maintenance, ADNOC Offshore; the event also witnessed participation from other industry stalwarts including Serba Dinamik, Wood Serv, Weir Oil & Gas, Eagle Burgmann, MTU Power, Siemens, John Crane, Hanwha Power Systems, ABB, Atlas Copco and several others.
(ME RoTIC) was designed to suit the needs of several process industries and focused on helping attendees in improving their businesses across a wide range of functions, including rotating machinery technology (turbines, engines, gearboxes, motors, generators), 3D printing, materials modifications and upgrades, advanced Diagnostics, asset reliability, maintenance & repair, and lifecycle services. It also featured breakout session that explored future technologies in pumps, compressors and seals solutions.
