“My TV to talk about Women in the UAE”

Saturday 6 July – Palazzo Dama – Rome – Italy

As part of the “IN TOWN Calendar” of Altaroma, one of the major fashion and cultural events of Italy, Benedetta Paravia met the press, during an exclusive event sponsored by the Italian Women Entrepreneurs (FIDAPA).

The new series of television, web and in-flight cross-media format entitled “Hi Emirates” has been presented during the meeting and, in the occasion of the UAE National Day, it will be broadcasted on the U.A.E. Networks, highlighting the spirit of Tolerance of all seven United Arab Emirates, a country Benedetta called “a community for communities”.

Benedetta Paravia, also known as Princess Bee, an Italian expert in international relations, arrives in Rome returning from the success of “Hi Dubai” series which she produced in honor of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his 50 years of Country service.

“Hi Dubai” is an all-women docu-reality about lifestyle, culture, sport, social and tolerance. Benedetta is the creator, producer and host of this project, for which she broadcasted on the DMI TV and web channels (Dubai One tv, Dubai Post and Emirates24/7), as well as on all Emirates Airline flights with English and Arabic subtitles and she created the hashtag #weloveshaikhmohammed (a long hashtag as if you love him you will find time to type it all – She said)
The women, who are the protagonists of the new series “Hi Emirates”, are 35 in total, among which: the Sheikha Dr. Hind al Qassimi;  the Emirati philanthropist Thoraya Al Awadhi;  Dr. Mouza Al Ameri, who fights breast cancer on her patients every day;  the Emirati skater Zahra Lari (who fought for the acceptance of the veil on the head during international competitions, as a symbol of mutual respect between the different communities);  the young Italian horse rider Costanza Laliscia, champion of the Endurance World Cup, the young Olympic shooting champion Yasmine Tahlak but also some leading entrepreneurs from the Emirates Business Council, with representatives of the various religious communities dedicated to charity and social activities in the United Arab Emirates.

“These women represent different worlds that converge in the spirit of social pluralism of the United Arab Emirates, which offers dignity and respect for the various populations, despite their differences” – said Benedetta – “The positive stories about these women represent a path supported by a great strength that is the key to reach and overcome every difficulty and be successful”.

The theme song of the program is “Emaraat”, a song written and interpreted by Benedetta, as Princess Bee, together with the Emirati singer Harbi Alamri with the Arabic part written by Ali Al Khawar.
Benedetta is also a determined philanthropist: co-founder and ambassador of the Italian non-profit organization A.N.G.E.L.S.  – National Association of Young Energies Leading Solidarity – dedicated to the medical assistance of sick children from war-affected areas.  She is the only artist in the world who received the patronage of UNESCO for having written “Angels – a song for peace” for its fundamental importance for peace and solidarity between populations.

The “since 18 years ago” U.A.E. enthusiastic Benedetta Paravia added: “This year (2019) is the year of “Tolerance” in the United Arab Emirates, the only country in the world that boasts a Ministry of Tolerance to ensure that every individual feels welcome among the 280 nationalities present in the territory. We are waiting all of you to visit Expo2020 another one of the extraordinary events made in U.A.E.”

Recently, during the first and historic visit of Pope Francis to the U.A.E., Benedetta Paravia was among the Ambassadors of Peace, a guest of honor of this extraordinary event.
