WHAT: KARL LAGERFELD and fashion entrepreneur Olivia Palermo celebrated their new collaboration at an exclusive pre-launch event yesterday in Dubai, UAE. Palermo—who joined the festivities from New York—first hosted a collection preview for selected guests at KARL LAGERFELD’s new store in the Dubai Mall. This was followed by an invitation-only VIP event at The Vault for local influencers, press and friends of the brand.

“KARL LAGERFELD Styled by Olivia Palermo” feature elements of KARL’s iconic Parisian aesthetic, fused with Palermo’s eclectic viewpoint as a native New Yorker who has traveled the world. The 24-piece collection—which is accompanied by five additional pieces that Palermo co-designed—will launch on June 27, 2019, at KARL LAGERFELD stores, online at KARL.COM and Palermo’s eponymous website, OliviaPalermo.com, as well as via premium wholesale partners worldwide.

At the Dubai Mall, KARL LAGERFELD’s new store is located on the prestigious “Fashion Avenue” rotunda. It showcases the full breadth of KARL LAGERFELD’s lifestyle collections for women including ready-to-wear, bags, small accessories and collectable items. The décor features the brand’s new retail concept—inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s own office and home—and immersive World of KARL experience. The striking façade, which spans 22 meters in length, combines massive glass panels with white marble, black steel and an impressive self-portrait of Karl Lagerfeld.
