THE TRIP™ arrives at Max & Aegle in time for World Bicycle Day an immersive, virtual cycling experience
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (June 3, 2019): Meydan’s latest innovative concept in health and fitness, Max & Aegle, introduces Les Mills: THE TRIP™, a new interactive virtual reality cycling experience that takes the spinning concept into a new dimension.
THE TRIP™ is a fully immersive workout experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds. With its cinema-scale screen and sound system, THE TRIP™ takes motivation and energy output to the next level, burning serious calories. Max & Aegle is one of only two wellness destinations in Dubai to host the new concept in spinning.
Bringing a complete sensory experience that combines entertainment and movement, the challenging 40-minute session takes participants on a fun adventure combining sprints and hills, while building endurance and ensuring a complete body-workout. Unlike RPM classes, where the focus is on burning calories, THE TRIP™ makes you forget about time and the fact that you’re exercising. It is about collectively enjoying a fitness trip, with the instructor sitting alongside you, not in the front facing you. The latest research from the Les Mills Lab proves that the immersive experience of THE TRIP can help beginners to transition from working out because they HAVE to – to working out because they WANT to.
The health and fitness benefits of spinning classes are numerous and include improvement of lower body strength, especially legs and glutes, cardiovascular and respiratory system, as well as the most important muscles in the body – the heart and the lungs. Other benefits also include lowering blood glucose levels, triggering weight loss, burning approximately 400 to 600 calories in a 40-min class of moderate intensity, as well as uplifting mood, emotional and mental wellbeing.
THE TRIP™ classes will be held thrice a week with fully trained fitness experts providing guidance and motivation. For further information, please email email@example.com.
