CFD student slected by Christian Dior Couture for the global Women@Dior mentorship programme

May, 2019 – Dubai: Zinah Issa, a student at The College of Fashion and Design in Dubai, has been selected for the international mentoring program Women@Dior. This global project is designed to enable cross cultural, cross generational and cross functional interactions.

“Young women want to own their professional destiny, to be guided, and to share generously their experience,” said Karin Raguin, director of talent development at Christian Dior. The mentorship program has been extended to encompass 200 female students from ten cities around the world including London, Shanghai, New York, Dubai and Tokyo.

Women@Dior mentoring program, based on the union of Maison Diro’s internal expertise and an excellent educational process, is a unique initiative dedicated to young women. Launched in 2017, more than 300 mentees have been already accompanied by the Maison Dior mentors, guiding exceptional students from fashion, business and engineering schools around the world. Women@Dior is an invitation only program and participants are selected on three criteria; talent, ambition and generosity. Students studying in a Dior partner universities apply for the program and if selected they become part of the worldwide network of mentees.

The College of Fashion and design in Dubai is proud to be associated with this global initiative by an international brand such as Dior in extending such a unique opportunity to their students.
