An interschool competition for students across grade 5 to grade 12 to promote ethical use of social platforms, present their ideas and innovation digitally

Abu Dhabi; 30 April 2019: Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi’s favorite mall has announced an exciting Interschool YouTuber Championship ‘Digital Wiz’ for the young talents of Abu Dhabi. Organized by the mall, the competition is designed for young video content creator across grade 5 to 12, who aspire to bring a change in the society and world at large through the digital ecosystem and desire to present their talent to the world innovatively.

The mechanics to be a Digital Wiz are simple;

Participants from the Schools to create a YouTube video which could be educational, informative, related to social awareness, comical, innovative, travelogue, product or destination reviews, talent showcase etc.
5 best entries from the participating schools would compete in the final leg of the competition
These videos will be uploaded on Dalma Mall’s YouTube channel, where students, their peers, parents and family would engage to promote their respective videos and make it go viral
Competition winner would be judged basis the content engagement with public i.e. views, like, share, follow, subscribe on their respective video

The winner of the competition will win AED 20,000 Dalma Mall gift vouchers. The 1st and 2nd runner up will be awarded AED 7500 and AED 3000 gift vouchers respectively. Additionally, seven contestants will stand a chance to win a total of AED 7,000 vouchers.

In order to keep up with the rapidly changing digital landscape, the contest aims to educate and promote healthy content creation and responsible use of social media channels amongst the GenZ and encourage them to capture their creative flair in a responsible manner.
