Dubai, United Arab Emirates —April 8th, 2019—Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) rewrites the photography rules for users in the region with the launch of the HUAWEI P30 Supercamera phone series. Fielding the company’s most advanced camera smartphones to date, the HUAWEI P30 Pro boasts game-changing innovations such as the world’s first Leica Quad Camera with HUAWEI SuperSpectrum Sensor and SuperZoom Lens that have enabled Huawei to push the envelope of not just photography, but videography as well.

Commenting on the announcement, David Wang, UAE country manager at Huawei Consumer Business Group, said: “Huawei CBG enjoys the unwavering trust of users in the UAE as they have grown to recognize us for our ability to pioneer technologies to redefine user experience. Recording memories is one of the oldest forms of expression and with the evolution of digital photography, the smartphone camera has become the most important feature in users’ considerations. With the HUAWEI P30 Pro we have introduced the Supercamera to the smartphone by integrating the world’s first Leica Quad Camera with cutting-edge HUAWEI SuperSpectrum Sensor and SuperZoom Lens to create a powerful smartphone for videography and photography.”

With the HUAWEI P30 Pro, mobile photography has reached a zenith, as it is the highest-rated smartphone camera on DxOMark with an average score of 112. The cutting-edge HUAWEI SuperSpectrum Sensor helps achieve greater light sensitivity, better low noise capture and improved color reproduction and the SuperZoom supports 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and unprecedented 50x digital zoom.

Moreover, the HUAWEI Dual-View Video enables users to simultaneously capture a large area and a close-up and view the two shots together on one screen, while the 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge and 15W Wireless quick charging with reverse charge support ensures uninterrupted experience. And to top it all, the Super Night Mode lets HUAWEI P30 Series create videos in dimly lit places – from concerts and bars, to the city skyline at night, to even a candle being blown out.

Huawei CBG also announced the TIPA General Assembly’s recognition of the HUAWEI P30 Pro as one of the Best Products of 2019 with the device bagging a “Best Photo Smartphone” award. For the third year in a row, this prestigious title has been awarded to a HUAWEI P Series flagship, proving Huawei’s dedication to constantly improving quality, performance and design to drive the world of mobile photography, and subsequently meet users’ demands and expectations.

Building on the phenomenal success of the HUAWEI Mate 20 Series selling out in the UAE before it hit the store shelves – during its first phase of pre-order – it will not be a surprise to expect smartphone photography enthusiasts are already lining up to pre-order the highly anticipated supercamera phone.

Both the HUAWEI P30 Pro and HUAWEI P30 are available for pre-order online and in-store until the 10th of April 2019. With every pre-order, customers will receive a gift package worth AED 1299, including the new Huawei Watch GT 2019 Active edition.
