Dubai, 11 February 2019: Gather your family and friends and head over to Golden Mile Galleria on Palm Jumeirah to be part of its free, first-of-its-kind, Run & Flo fitness event on Saturday, 16 February.

Held on the terraces of Golden Mile Galleria Building 8, adjacent to Al Ittihad Park, the event features Family Run and Yoga Flow sessions, offering the benefits of cardio and mobility-based workouts using traditional and modern techniques to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle through a combination of vigorous exercise and soothing meditation. Participants can enter either session – or both – free of charge.

Run & Flo is a home-grown fitness concept created in collaboration with Core Direction – Dubai’s leading fitness, health and wellness online platform.

Blossom Nursery (@theblossomnursery) at Golden Mile Galleria is offering a wealth of activities for children in a fun and safe environment whilst their parents participate in Run & Flo, including kids’ yoga, Zumba, face painting sessions, colouring activities, building blocks and playdough time. In addition, Mokha 1450 café is providing complimentary servings of their special Haile Supreme cold brew coffee to participants prior to the fitness sessions.
Timings are 4pm for Family Run and 5.30pm for Yoga Flow. Participants must bring a personal yoga mat, a beach towel and a water bottle to the sessions.

Family Run
Family Run is an energetic 2.6km sprint at the scenic Al Ittihad Park running track, adjacent to Golden Mile Galleria. The activity is a perfect opportunity for families to bond through sport and collectively work towards boosting their health and fitness levels.
Participants will be guided for the energy-pumping run by triathletes, fitness rock stars and Dubai’s top studios, including Fitness First (@FitnessFirstME), ON Middle East (@ON_Running_ME), Core Direction (@CoreDirection) and Clifford Tindell (@InspiringMovement).
Yoga Flow
Yoga Flow is a yoga-based stretching session that loosens muscles and offers mental and physical relaxation. It boosts stamina and endurance and is a great way to de-stress.
Attendees will experience powerful asanas with Dubai’s top studio and yoga practitioners: Yoga La Vie (@YogaLaVieDub), Nitia Krishna (@nitaiyog), Simona Stanton (@SimonaStanton) and Allaoua Gaham (@Allaouayogasystema).
Future Run & Flo events are scheduled on 23 March and 20 April.
