CHEVAL BLANC RANDHELI WELCOMES CHEF DARSHAN MUNIDASA
Ministry of Crab in Sri Lanka’s chef, Dharshan Munidasa is at the Maison Cheval Blanc Randheli.
He will first be collaborating with the Director of Culinary, Chef Sebastien Lefort, for a gala dinner by the pool on February 4th, and will then be presenting his menu February 5th, for a pop-up dinner on the beach.
Born in Japan, the award-winning Sri-Lankan chef has inspired both his cultures into his restaurant Ministry of Crab’s dishes. He works and magnifies one particular product –the crab, which is raised locally in the Sri-Lankan lagoon. The very short distribution channel translates each dish into freshness and accuracy of taste.
Dharshan Munidasa is the only Sri-Lankan chef awarded on the “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant List”, as a foreign Asian restaurant.
The Noonu atoll might be one of the closest Maldives Islands to Sri Lanka. This is one of many reasons Cheval Blanc Randheli is thrilled to welcome Chef Dharshan Munidasa’s talent in the Maison, through those two days dedicated to the Ministry of Crab cuisine, for the Chinese New Year celebrations.
