Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate’s first-ever Christmas Bazaar looks merry and bright
Dubai, UAE – The Christmas spirit can now be felt all around us, and along with it, the Friday brunch grows! By grows, we mean that there is now a Christmas bazaar that goes with it.
Embrace the Yuletide cheer as Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate marries its Friday brunch with its first-ever Christmas market on all Fridays of December.
Expect a spruced up family-friendly brunch with a massive buffet spread of traditional Christmas staples such as stuffed turkey, minced pies and mulled wine, to name a few, with live cooking stations and special festive drinks starting from AED 340.
And if you’re not really into the brunch scene, maybe a walk along an enthralling bazaar comprising a variety of local products and handcrafted trinkets shall do the tr ick. Isn’t this just perfect for last-minute Christmas shopping? And did we mention that entrance is free for the bazaar? What a steal!
“We’re very excited about this concept. There are only a few brunches in the city that has a Christmas market,” said General Manager Maurice De Rooij. “We want everything to be all in one roof for the brunch crowd and for the festive shoppers.”
A Christmas choir shall set the ambiance and lead everyone into merrymaking. The scent of cinnamon and gingerbread shall envelope the halls of Al Bahou, which will definitely evoke the spirit of the season. Catching a whiff and it will surely transport you to a lovely memory of your childhood.
Speaking of childhood, let the little ones enjoy the festive too.
The little ones can also enjoy their own buffet with Mövenpick’s signature “Power Bites”, a selection of dishes for kids that are healthy and fresh.
They can also get entertained at the Little Birds Club with face painting, cinema screening and a bouncy castle.
And if they’re being creative, let them unleash the Picasso from within with a gingerbread decorating sessions guided by the chefs at Revo Café starting from AED 65.
“This brunch is for everyone, and if one has little to no time for the big day itself, at least you have four other Fridays to celebrate. This concept is here to create new traditions and memories to anyone here in Dubai,” said De Rooij.
As for the big day, a Christmas Brunch shall also take place—with a special guest for the kids of course! Santa shall grace the event with gifts for all the kids.
Be sure to leave some cheer for the other days of December as the five-star hotel continues the merriment through activities all throughout the festive season via turkey takeaway and Christmas Eve dinners. Leading to the New Year’s Eve parties, the Gate is definitely a Christmas destination for everyone to get together.
