DAVID MYERS’ BLEU BLANC, BASTA! AND POPPY ANNOUNCE LINE-UP OF 2018 FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS

World-renowned celebrity chef, David Myers is thrilled to announce an exciting line-up of festive celebrations at his three Dubai venues.

Covering everything from festive-themed after-work events for your colleagues and friends, a Christmas Day brunch for the whole family and dazzling end of year celebrations, Bleu Blanc, BASTA! and Poppy have something for everyone this holiday season.

Bleu Blanc by David Myers

This festive month of December, experience candle-lit evenings by the open fire of The Grill Counter at Bleu Blanc with your family, colleagues and friends. Throughout December, groups can enjoy our specially curated set menus, special decorations, and elevated events to make for a truly special festive celebration.

Festive Group Dinners at Bleu Blanc
Date: 2nd December to 23rd December
Details: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the festively decorated Bleu Blanc, with an enticing offer for groups to enjoy specially curated festive set menus in the month of December. Savour dishes such as Roasted Baby Chicken, Black Angus Brisket and Ember Roasted Seabream while indulging in a perfectly festive atmosphere of candle light, Christmas crackers and the open fire of The Grill Counter keeping you warm.
Price: Menus starting AED 210 per person. Beverage packages are available upon request.

Uncork – The Sparkling Edition
Date: 19th December
Timings: From 6pm to 10pm
Details: Relax, unwind and uncork this festive season at Bleu Blanc with its special sparkling wine edition of Uncork. Discover a selection of crémant, prosecco and other varieties as we pop the cork to add some sparkle to your pre-Christmas celebrations. Decorations and festive themed photo props are sure to make for some memorable snaps with friends.
Price: AED 195 per person inclusive of two hours of free-flowing sparkling grape and two plates of nibbles starting from the first pour.

Festive Brunch at Bleu Blanc
Date: 21st December
Timings: 12.30pm to 4pm
Details: Treat your family and friends to a pre-Christmas brunch at Bleu Blanc where you will embark on a culinary journey to southern France. Complete with seasonal decorations, festive photo props and Christmas crackers, this is the ultimate foodie brunch to get you into the holiday spirit.
Price: Starting from AED 350 per person.

Christmas Eve at Bleu Blanc
Date: 24th December
Timings: 6pm – 12am
Details: Limited to six guests only, there has never been a more special place to celebrate Christmas Eve than at The Grill Counter at Bleu Blanc. Sit back and enjoy as Chef Alex prepares signatures dishes on the grill right in front of you, taking you on a festive culinary journey.
Price: AED 420 per person. A wine pairing option is also available for AED 220 per person inclusive of 4 glasses of wine.

Christmas Day Brunch at Bleu Blanc
Date: 25th December
Timings: 12.30pm to 4pm
Details: Guests looking for the ultimate foodie feast are in for a treat at the Christmas Day Brunch at Bleu Blanc. The French farmhouse-inspired restaurant is the ultimate picturesque place to celebrate the most joyous day of the year, with festive decorations and photo props as well as a wholesome feast for all guests. The appetising menu includes favourites such as Kelly Oysters, Grilled King Prawns and Whole Roasted Turkey with Cranberry Sauce.
Price: Packages starting from AED 350 per person.

New Year’s Eve at Bleu Blanc
Date: 31st December
Timings: 8pm till late
Details: Ring in the New Year at the doorstep of Dubai’s most lavish NYE display. Enjoy the flavours of Southern France as Bleu Blanc plays host to one of the city’s most delicious New Year’s Eve celebrations. At the stroke of midnight, take advantage of our unique location, which includes front row access to the Dubai Water Canal as well as views of the Burj Khalifa fireworks.
Price: AED 500 minimum spend per person for dinner tables and no minimum spend at the bar.

BASTA! by David Myers

Festive get-togethers made easy: as easy as BASTA!. Grab your friends, family, work mates and neighbours, and head to the al fresco terrace overlooking the Dubai Water Canal and get into the holiday spirit with BASTA!.

Festive Group Dinners at BASTA!
Date: 2nd December – 23rd December
Details: Indulge in a vast selection of Italian favourites this festive season at BASTA! by choosing from one of two set menu options. This filling festive feast includes popular dishes such as Rigatoni Pasta with Lamb Ragu, Roasted Guinea Fowl and Lasagna Natalizia, making BASTA! the ideal venue for group gatherings and work get-togethers on the terrace, whilst taking in the beautiful views of the Dubai Water Canal.
Price: Menus starting AED 185 per person. Beverage packages are available upon request.

Aperitivo – The Festive Edition
Date: 18th December
Timings: 5pm – 7pm
Details: Toast the joyous season the Italian way with the infamous Aperitivo ritual at BASTA!. This fun-filled festive celebration is one not to be missed with special festive cocktails, photo props and holiday decorations to ensure guests truly get into the holiday spirit. Guests are encouraged to wear their favourite Christmas jumpers and Santa hats to join in on the fun at BASTA! this jolly season.
Price: AED 68 for 2 drinks and 1 antipasti.

New Year’s Eve at BASTA!
Date: 31st December
Timings: 8pm till late
Details: Celebrate the last few hours of 2018 with close friends and family at BASTA! for a relaxed and unpretentious New Year’s Eve celebration, complete with all your favourite BASTA! signatures. Seated right next to the sparkling Dubai Water Canal, and with access to views of the iconic Burj Khalifa firework display, say ‘Ciao’ to 2019 in the most memorable location in Dubai this New Year’s Eve.
Price: Minimum spend AED 500 per person after 8.00pm.

Poppy by David Myers

Poppy offers a unique setting for a cocktail and canapé get-together with its intimate atmosphere paired with world class drinks curated by international mixologist Sam Ross.
