EMBARK ON A JOURNEY THROUGH THE FLAVOURS OF ASIA AT THE LARGEST MERCURE IN THE WORLD

Dubai, UAE, November 2018:  Starting from 1st November, the world’s largest Mercure will celebrate all the fantastic flavours of Asia with a very special theme night called ‘Discover Asia’ held in the hotel’s Day & Night restaurant on the ground floor.

Friends, families and couples can experience the evening every Thursday from 18:00 until midnight at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel, Suites & Apartments.

Surrounded by authentic sounds and decor inspired by the region, diners can enjoy a unique Asian experience; tucking into a variety of exotic salads and exquisite Japanese sushi, chicken tikka and fried noodles prepared at live cooking stations. There will also be a buffet which will take foodies on a journey through the combined flavours of Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand and China.

Mercure’s Head Chef Imran Mian will also be preparing specialties including Peking duck and special fried wontons which are guaranteed to tantalise taste buds all round.

“The ‘Discover Asia’ night will take diners on a journey by offering their ‘favourites’ from the region – those signature dishes that everyone looks out for when they travel there. We want this night to be the go-to Asian night in Dubai, and with a vast choice of fresh and vibrant flavours of Asian cuisine available there is something here for everyone to enjoy,”  said Imran Mian, Head Chef.

Diners can come to the Asian night for a very wallet-friendly price of 130AED per person which includes unlimited soft drinks. Children under the age of 12 will be 65AED and children younger than 6 will eat for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

What’s more, to complete the experience diners can enjoy mouth-watering desserts, including the delicious and delicate sticky rice and zingy exotic fruits for a sweet and refreshing finish to the Asian feast.
