October 2018 marks another successful SIMPLY DUBAI FASHION & BEAUTY CONFERENCE With Keynote Speakers Law Roach and Lilit Caradanian
DUBAI, 22 October 2018 – The SIMPLY Dubai ‘Do What You Love’ Fashion and Beauty Conference, designed to connect career-minded fashionistas and beauty lovers with experts in their field, made is mark again in Dubai. The event was full of social media gurus, entrepreneurs, fashion bloggers, influencers, beauty experts and stylist. The Conference has created a space where all aspiring fashion and beauty enthusiast can come and learn from their peers and successful industry experts.
The premier US-based conference is held annually in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, and launched exclusively for the region during World of Fashion 2016. At the heart of every SIMPLY conference is a curated group of experts from a variety of industry fields who are there to tell their stories and inspire future generations. Headlining this year were two keynote speakers, stylist to the stars Law Roach and international Makeup Artist Lilit Caradanian.
Guests also heard from a curated group of experts from the region each shared their insights into how to tap into the market and create a lasting impression in fashion, beauty, business and online. Speakers on the beauty panel included AlReem Saif, Chris Dylan and Samira Olaf. Digital personalities Nadya Hasan, Tamara AlGabbani, Sai Ferrera lent their advice to budding bloggers. There to share style advice were creative directors, editorial and personal stylists Gweys Soriano, Vasil, Slim Dayaa, Dareen Alyawar and Sam Francis. Talking business was owner of Soh Dubai Sally Soheili, Nina Uhbi from Beauty Expert, as well as entrepreneurs Sara Al Madani and Caroline Stranbury.
Moderating the keynote panels were media gurus Louise Nichols – Editor in Chief of Harpers Bazaar Arabia, Meredith Damouni – Managing Director of Capital D Studio, Alia Fawad – ITP Live, Nour Aldin – TV Personality, Kavita Srinivasan – Editor in Chief of Cosmopolitan ME, Milli Midwood – Social Media Content Creator and Fouad Haidar – MBC TV host.
In addition to the panel discussions, SIMPLY Dubai featured networking opportunities, brand set ups, live demonstrations and workshops which helped guests connect and build lasting relationships. BEDashing, Soh Dubai, Capital D Studio, Barkha Beauty, and Lesprit Clinic were there to showcase the latest trends and must-haves.
Our favorite addition to the conference was the Entrepreneur panel that featured a diverse group of Female Entrepreneurs. Alia Fawad from ITP Live moderated the panel that featured Sara Al Madani a fashion designer, and youngest board member of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, Nina Ubhi, a make up artist and blogger, and other intrepreneurs. It was thrilling to have all these young ladies on stage sharing their stories and insights on making it in Dubai, staying true to yourself and doing it all with passion.
SIMPLY Dubai closed with its most anticipated panel with Joyce Bonelli, the most in demand celebrity makeup artist. It was very refreshing to hear her stories on beauty, celebrity, and blogging. SIMPLY has formally created the bridge between East and West in an organic and uplifting way.
Since 2012, SIMPLY has brought consumers, tastemakers and industry experts together for annual conferences in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and now Dubai.
