How you perceive yourself has a direct effect on how you nourish yourself, inside out! H Retreats, welcomes you to take a day for some self-love with their upcoming wellness programme called “Mindful Eating & Body Perception.” Build a healthier relationship with your body – from the inside out.
For this month’s ladies only day, Briar Jacques, counselling psychologist and mindfulness trainer, will go through a taster session of her six week programme called Embody Compassion. The session will include: exploring the links between mindfulness, meditation and intuitive eating; consciousness of the effects of conditioning about beauty, size,ageing, and interoceptive awareness.
Nutrition and life coach, Victoria Tepper explores the connection between our mind and our gut and how there is a direct line of communication between the two. You’ll discover ways to ensure both are the happiest they can be.
The day includes a bespoke one-hour training session with body transformational therapist Jenna Lincoln, founder of Body Inc in Dubai. Enjoy a three-course healthy lunch, and learn to cook your own vegan dishes in our cooking class!
“Wellness Saturday,” this November 3, runs from 9:00am – 5:30pm and costs AED 800 (+ AED 45 transaction charge) per person, at Dukes Dubai, The Palm Jumeirah.
