Wellness dining concept with African roots, Catfish officially launches in Dubai
To coincide with Nigerian Independence Day, wellness dining concept with African roots Catfish has officially launched.
Founded by foodie and health expert Gbemi Giwa, popularly known for her platform Dubai Fit Foodie, the name Catfish is inspired by the Nigerian delicacy, “Catfish Pepper Soup” a broth that’s made using whole Catfish allowing the bones to release their collagen into the broth which is then seasoned with a mixture of fermented condiments, warm spices and aromatic herbs. The soup is often used as a remedy for cold and flu.
Catfish is available for dine in at Kitchen Nation, Silver Tower in Business Bay. Customers can also order online directly from the kitchen or via Deliveroo, Talabat, Zomato and Uber Eats.
Inspired by the flavours of Africa, Catfish is bringing a new kind of dining experience to the Dubai food scene. With an audacious flair, the concept combines traditional African ingredients with modern wellness savoir faire to create a mouthwatering palate that’s bursting with flavour and vitality.
The highlight of the menu so far includes the Dancing Waist which consists of Grilled peri-peri chicken, smoky jollof rice, grilled plantain, charred cherry tomatoes, catfish salad mix served with pineapple sriracha dressing. Vegan options are also available.
