The Rado Hyper Chrome Ultra Light

A study in harmonious contrasts

(Lengnau, Switzerland –2018) With the brand’s dedication to innovation and to pushing boundaries, the new HyperChromeUltra Light is everything you’d expect from a Rado, featuring groundbreaking materials, innovative new elements and showstopping design.

Presented in two earthy tones, the bronze and brown pieces are a study in harmonious contrasts. The HyperChromeUltra Light makes a strong visual impact – an obvious heavyweight in the style stakes – but, made using ultra-light high-tech ceramic, you could almost forget you’re wearing it.

While ultra-light high-tech ceramic (Si3N4) is half the weight of standard Rado high-tech ceramic, it is even harder and more scratch-resistant.A result of Rado’s dedication to innovation, ultra-light high-tech ceramicis a truly exceptional material, and ideal for those who like to travel light.

Inspiration takes many forms

The super modern materials and high-tech case construction contrast strongly but impressively with the dial design. Taking their inspirationfrom 20th Century pocket watches, the understated simplicity and unparallelled legibility of the brown sunray high-tech ceramic dials give these timepieces a classic appearance.

In a continued study in contrasts, the brown version is presented on a sporty, vintage look NATO strap while the bronze edition has a brown aged leather strap.  It’s a perfect example of modern and traditional materials working in perfect harmony.

Drawing inspiration from the past but with one eye firmly on the future, the HyperChromeUltra Light is a timepiece that is sure to appeal for as many years as it is guaranteed to look good.
