ICAI Dubai host Gulf Indian Leadership Summit 2018

25th June 2018, Dubai, UAE – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Dubai Chapter) hosted its annual Gulf Indian Leadership Summit recently in the city, that brought together diverse success stories as well as future predictions for the economy.

The summit was led by an august panel of experts from different fields and was a thrilling convergence of ideas for a better future.

The Leadership Summit was led by a managing committee under the guidance of Chairman of ICAI Dubai, CA Naveen Sharma. The summit honored the success stories that have emerged in various fields in the industry while also throwing light on the emerging trends in both the UAE and Indian economy.

The impressive discussion panel was joined by Shri. Vipul, Consul General of India in Dubai, Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, India’s Minister of State for Youth Affairs , Mr Rizwan Sajan, Chairman, Danube Group, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare and, Dr. B.R. Shetty Founder of NMC Hospital and UAE Exchange, Mr. Babulal Varma, MD of Omkar Realtors and many more. The panel discussions were monitored by Indian news channel editors, Mr. Arnab Goswami of Republic Tv and Ms. Shivani Gupta of Republic Tv whose keen insights into the Indian economy and politics added a different dimension to the discussions.

CA Naveen Sharma, Chairman, ICAI Dubai said, “The Leadership Summit is not only a recognition of the success stories of the past. It is also a way to define how progress in the future will be scripted through a better understanding of the present. Through the summit, we wanted to create a space for discussion that is centered around excellence in our work.”

The ICAI is the second largest accounting body in the world, with over 250,000 members. It has a presence in countries all over the world. The Dubai Chapter has been active for over 35 years now and is an award winning team that has been at the forefront in their initiatives to bridge the information gap among the public through several outreach programmes. Through conferences, mentorship, multimedia programs, they have been an integral in educating the citizens in the matters of finance and economy.
