KHOFO unveils contemporary Pharaonic restaurant-design rooted in ancient luxury
Dubai-UAE: 13 June, 2018 – Pharaonic restaurant KHOFO has opened its doors at a sensational waterside location in Al Seef. Dubai’s epicures can now enjoy the city’s latest home-grown concept in surroundings where ancient luxury has been reinvented for a contemporary and cosmopolitan audience.
Spread across 7,500 square meters, stately columns, hieroglyphic murals and servers dressed up in the ancient pharaohs attire, KHOFO’s pharaonic-inspired design adorn the majestic indoor and outdoor space, which transports guests back to the time of King Khufu’s reign.
KHOFO, the newly opened restaurant, offers a rich menu full of authentic recipes and dishes rooted in old-age Egyptian culinary traditions. Diners have a wide array of dishes to choose from all through the day, with highlights including a delicious and balanced Egyptian breakfast with a selection of eggs, foul (fava beans) and falafel. Cold and hot appetisers such as, soups, salads, stews, casseroles, mixed grills, seafood and dessert are also part of the exciting selection for lunch and dinner.
Local Egyptian favourites such as molokia (a soup made from Jew’s mallow leaves), okra, oxtail soup, mahashi (assorted stuffed vegetables) and hawawshi (pita bread and minced meat) also offer Dubai’s gourmets a glimpse into the country’s time-honored culinary intricacies in an unparalleled setting.

KHOFO is open from 8am to 12 midnight on weekdays and 8am to 2am on weekends.
