ICAI Dubai’s 36th Annual Conference – “Evolution through Innovation”
5thth May 2018, Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Dubai recently held its 36th Annual Conference in the city, themed “Evolution through Innovation” focused on the need to infuse creativity in our solutions.
The Chief Guest for the conference was His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister & Minister of Tolerance, Govt. of UAE.
The Conference brought experts from varied backgrounds as they explored the vitality of innovation in evolution as we move forward. The esteemed speaker panel at the conference included likes of National Film Award winning Indian documentary filmmaker, Raja Choudhury, Padma Shri Awardee Prof Anil Kumar Gupta, Executive Vice Chair of the National Innovation Foundation, prominent Indian film critic, Mr. Rajeev Masand, Mr. Jaivardhan Singh, Youngest Member of Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh, Padma Bhushan Awardee Shri S Ramadorai, Ex Advisor to the Prime Minister of India in the National Council of Skill Development, Padma Shri Awardee Ms. Arunima Sinha, the first female amputee to climb the Mount Everest in the World and more.
The panel brought their individual experiences to create a collective narrative that shed light on the theme. Unanimous in their support to building a sustainable future, the panel discussed the ways we can encourage and harness innovation.
The conference also witnessed an extravagant musical performance by the extremely talented Indian singer and composer duo, Armaan Malik and Amaal Malik, who serenaded the audience with their musical genius and left them chanting for more.

In the light of the recently launched VAT reforms in the region, they have been proactive in aiding the transition.
