About Demoiselle by Galvin
Galvin Restaurants is a family run restaurant collection founded in 2005. Today, the collection consists of ten French restaurants in the United Kingdom and includes Bistrot de Luxe in Marylbourne and Galvin La Chapelle in Spitalfields in London. From fine dining business dinners to relaxed family friendly lunches and al fresco options, the Galvins pride themselves on offering something to suit everyone, whilst keeping high quality French cuisine, luxurious surroundings and great hospitality at the heart of everything they do. In 2016, Galvin Restaurants expanded its portfolio with four additions to its repertoire including Galvin at The Athenaeum in Piccadilly and their very first pub: Galvin Green Man in Essex. In 2017, the Galvin brand expands to the Middle East with the opening of the first-ever venue outside the United Kingdom — Demoiselle by Galvin — in partnership with Meraas Holding in Dubai’s City Walk.
Galvin Demoiselle opened its flagship venue inside London’s world renowned department store, Harrods, in 2012 to make up the fifth outlet in Galvin’s collection of French eateries. In 2016, the bijou bistro upgraded its location in Harrods from the Food Hall to the Conservatory on the 4th floor, offering quality French cuisine combined with Galvin’s warm, friendly hospitality. The perfect dining solution to local shoppers and visiting guests alike, Demoiselle is known for its light lunch dishes, trendy afternoon tea and gourmet desserts. Opened in early 2017, Demoiselle’s luxurious simplicity and gourmet cuisine made its way to Dubai and is the Galvin brothers’ first venture into the Middle East.

He joined Chris for the opening of Orrery in Marylebone in 1997 before being reunited with David Levin as Head Chef at The Greenhouse restaurant in Mayfair. His Michelin-starred experience led to his appointment at Marco Pierre White’s three Michelin-starred Oak Room, where he was Head Chef under the direction of Robert Reid, and in May 2000, Marco appointed him as Executive Chef at L’Escargot, which held a Michelin star for five years.
