National Day of kuwait celebrated with great fervour in dubai
Kuwaitis and people from many other nationalities thronged concerts and enjoyed culinary and cultural activities
Dubai, UAE 26 February, 2018: A large number of Kuwaiti nationals and people from many other nationalities participated in grand celebrations held in Dubai marking Kuwait’s National Day on 25 February.
The celebrations featured concerts by Miami Band from Kuwait and singer Bader AlShaibi, a culinary session by famous Kuwaiti chef, Jameela Al Lenqawi, an appearance by popular Kuwaiti foodie influencer, Talal Al Rashed, in addition to a spectacular fireworks show and cultural activities including performances by traditional bands. During a dinner hosted by influencer Al Rashed, Emirati artiste Omar Al Marzooqi performed a special song to celebrate Kuwait’s National Day.
Most of the events and activities to celebrate Kuwait’s National Day were held at Etisalat Beach Canteen, the hub of the ongoing Dubai Food Festival. Visitors to Etisalat Beach Canteen also enjoyed several other food-related activities including cooking demonstrations and workshops, cookie painting, balloon modelling, chocolate workshop, games and fun activities for children.
At Dubai International Airport a water salute was accorded to aircraft arriving from Kuwait while flowers, Arabic sweets and coffee were offered to Kuwaiti visitors arriving in Dubai, as part of the celebrations that reflected the strong and fraternal ties between Kuwait and the UAE.
