Sharjah, UAE: Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Co. LLC, developer of Sharjah Waterfront City – the largest mixed-use master-planned waterfront community in the emirate of Sharjah, announced that 25 percent of its Phase I have been sold out at a brokers’ registration event on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

The company has also announced the registration of more than 200 brokerage firms and brokers, who would sell and promote the properties within the Dh25 billion mixed-use master-planned new town.

Sharjah Oasis organised a brokers’ gathering at its sales centre at Sharjah Waterfront City where the brokers were briefed by the company’s sales team who offered insights to the project and its distinct appeal as a major waterfront destination with a marina, a water theme park, 95 towers, a shopping mall, 1,500 villas spread across eight islands.

The event generated a huge interest amongst the brokers so much so that they instantly sold 25 percent of the project, before the commercial launch of the project.

“The tremendous response from brokers – who understand the nerve of the market – is a living testimony of the significance of the project and its distinct appeal as the best waterfront project in the region,” H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Al Shakrah, Chairman of Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Co. LLC, said.

“This is also a validation of the tremendous efforts, teamwork and dedication of our team and the ground work needed to build the infrastructure of the project that is going to take shape in the next few years as the most beautiful destination in the Gulf.”

Further elaborating on the quality of the villa design, environment, construction and the touristic appeal of the project, Mr Al Shakrah said: “Sharjah Waterfront City will eventually become a paradise on earth – both for residents and tourists – where families will live, work, dine, shop, get wet at the waterpark, get entertained, dive, snorkel and enjoy life.

“Sun Island’s 321 villas offer a freedom to the residents – there’s more life outdoor than indoor. We are pleased with the initial response and feel confident that this will be sold out in a few months’ time.”

So far, 20 per cent of the works have already been accomplished by Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Co. LLC, even before the commercial launch of the project. These include the construction of the canals, physical infrastructure, power infrastructure, internal roadways, bridges, breakwater barriers for water circulation, installation of geo-textiles for environmental protection, detail design and piling and shoring works of the villas.

Sultan Al Shakrah, Chief Executive Officer of Sharjah Oasis, says, “The villas on Sun Island have been designed as intelligent buildings keeping in mind the future lifestyle – smart living and artificial intelligence and robotics as well – where a lot of things will be controlled through smart devices.

“The villas have been designed keeping the end-user comfort in mind and the development team at Sharjah Oasis are mindful of their obligations to deliver the best for the most beautiful destination in the Middle East. Sharjah Waterfront City is designed to be the most beautiful place to live, work and enjoy and we will make sure that the residents of the villas get that feeling.”

Villas on Sun Island – that form the Phase 1 of the Sharjah Waterfront City – are configured from three-bedroom villas to six-bedroom villas with a number of variations with size ranging from 2,777 square feet built-up area to 5,123 square feet villas each having a private beach of its own.

Alaa Massoud, General Manager, Sales and Marketing at Sharjah Oasis, says, “Our sales and marketing team is closely working with the brokers and investor community to help them benefit from the advantages and opportunities at Sharjah Waterfront City. This is the beginning of a long sales campaign that will see a number of initiatives to attract visitors, buyers and investors to Sharjah Waterfront City – Ajmal Makan.”

The company is offering attractive incentives to real estate brokers with commission depending on the number of sales concluded.
