Dubai, UAE: February 6, 2018 – BASE adds superstar flair to February as the home-grown super club announces some of its line-up for the coming month. Its deep house, electronic and techno night GRND CTRL, continues with French DJ trio Apollonia, while Parisian powerhouse DJ Magnum returns to BASE after kicking-off the season in September. DJ Aik joins Toni Vegas this Thursday, and on Friday Jamaican artist Sean Paul brings his distinctive blend of hip hop and R&B to BASE. The following week Rick Ross headlines Prestige Saturdays.

BASE is where the party’s at, as the 2,000 capacity venue under the stars hosts GRND CTRL on Thursdays, Hip Hop Fridays, and Prestige Saturdays, showcasing special guests and international sensations.

Toni Vegas & Aik – February 8
Parisian sensation DJ Aik has long been working the world’s top venues. For over a decade, from Paris to New York and London to Dubai, he has performed in the most exclusive clubs, celebrity parties, fashion weeks, openings, and concerts around the world.

Toni Vegas has been spinning records for as long as he can remember. Getting his start in 1999 in Scotland, he has since risen to be the marquee act at some of the most exclusive and high-end international venues, ranging from Toy Room in London, to Bâoli in Cannes, Jimmy’z in Monte-Carlo, Armani/Prive in Milan, and Up&Down in New York City. Toni’s laid back style contrasts with his bouncy, pulse-quickening hip-hop beats, and along with DJ Aik, he is sure to have BASE bouncing on February 8.

Sean Paul – February 9
When your list of colleagues has included Busta Rhymes, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland, Juicy J, 2Chainz and Nicki Minaj, you know you’ve hit the big time, and Sean Paul is definitely big time. With five of his six albums Grammy nominated, and his energetic live performances known worldwide, the Jamaican artist has become an international sensation, successfully spanning genres from hip hop and reggae to EDM and Latin pop. Sean Paul has ignited stages in over 100 countries, and became the first Jamaican artist to perform in places like Kazakhstan and Madagascar. This Friday he’ll raise the ‘temperature’ and ‘get busy’ on the BASE stage as he brings his electrifying, eclectic, multi-platinum mix to Dubai.

GRND CTRL presents Apollonia – February 15
GRND CTRL, featuring world renowned techno, deep house, and electronic DJs on Thursday nights, continues with Apollonia on February 15. The French trio have just finished playing at BPM in Portugal, so you can be sure that GRND CTRL will be set to take-off once they take to the BASE stage.

Hip Hop Friday with DJ Magnum – February 16
Another prestigious Parisian, DJ Magnum, comes to BASE on February 16. As used to playing for the likes of Justin Bieber, Drake, P. Diddy (Brother Love), Jamie Foxx, and Snoop Dogg, as he is for the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix, Magnum takes the party to another level with hip hop beats and and all-star cast off celebrity collaborations. Holding down numerous residencies in multiple major cities, he regularly features at private events, top billings at festivals, and has performed at some of the world’s biggest venues including Wembley Stadium. He kicked off the BASE season back in September 2017 heading a line-up that included Erick Morillo, Kid Ink, Tyga, and French Montana, and we just can’t wait until he’s back at BASE this month!

Prestige Saturday with Rick Ross – February 17
With an impeccable beard and a booming baritone voice, Rick Ross is a hip hop powerhouse. With four Grammy Award nominations under his belt since he launched his first album in 2006, he’s shot to the forefront of industry, and on his last album collaborated with genre-spanning A-listers such as John Legend, Cee-Lo Green, Nas, DJ Premier, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, and Future. It’s going to be an incredible night when Rick Ross is on the mic at BASE on February 17.
